Type 13 Mk II - Winter test compilation (4 April)

Description

Tests of the Type 13 Mk II's winter palette I did earlier this month, with approximate distances (note that the bottom three photos are oblique shots; I left the board in the same spot as in the 50m shot). I don't have an easel, so I had to cover a board with my fabric and lean it against some brush; it lessens the impact of the pattern's effectiveness by hiding it behind concealment as well, but I think my aim was met anyway. I might make the pattern a bit brighter in a new iteration but I haven't decided yet.

Hey, awesome!
Say, you're going to want to be able to see the lit side instead of the shadowed side of your pattern to really see how it shows up on the background. Means you should have your back to the sun when taking the pic, or take it when the sun is higher up.
X-rite says that to get the most accurate color from their colorchecker chart to make sure that the light source is 45° from perpendicular to the plane of the chart (not at a steep angle and not straight-on). It'd be perhaps a good idea to do the same for your camo swatch to ensure that it's colors are most accurately represented.
But yeah, cool lookin' pattern. Hope to see more sometime. :D
